Seminar on Higher Education Opportunities in Germany
The Department of Chemical Engineering organized a Seminar on Higher Education Opportunities in Germany on 6th October 2022. Mr Vinayak Thorave, an alumnus of the Chemical Engineering Department and currently pursuing MS (Process Safety and Environmental Engineering) from OVGU University, Magdeburg, Germany was invited to interact with Third Year and Final Year Chemical Engineering students, with an objective of awareness about the master’s program in Germany.
The seminar was arranged in collaboration with the Association of Chemical Engineering Students (ACES) and began in the presence of the Head of the Department, Dr Nitin Kanse and Prof. P. A. Giri. Mr Vinayak Thorave shared his experience with an application process for a master’s program in German Universities and also explained the importance of learning a foreign language. He also shared the education system in German Universities and opportunities to earn while learning. Final-year Chemical Engineering students coordinated the event successfully. Ms Purva Vanjari hosted the program and all faculty members of the Chemical Engineering Department were present for the seminar.
The seminar was attended by 32 students and successfully coordinated by Prof. P. A. Giri.
