One day Seminar on Block Chain and Ethereum
A one day Seminar on Block Chain and Ethereum was organized on 1st September, 2018 under Information Technology Student’s Association (ITSA) in IT department at FAMT. Dr. Deven Shah, Thakur College of Engineering, Mumbai was invited for the seminar as the resource person.
The seminar began with an inaugural ceremony at IT seminar hall. Dr. Deven Shah explained the fundamentals of Block chain and Ethereum Technology and its applications in the current market sector. He also explained implementation of block chain technology in banking sector and how to eliminate banking frauds with this technology. He also explained block chain platforms and projects for students.
Total 44 IT students attended the seminar. They shared good feedback and expressed interest for guidance in future. It was coordinated by Prof. Priyanka Bandagale and Prof. Deven Ketkar, Faculty Co-ordinator.
