A seminsar on fire safety was organized for SE and TE Chemical Students on 25th July, 2019. The objective was to highighlight the importance of fire saftey for Chemical Engineers.
Mr. Pradeep Kamble, Retd. Safety Officer, Finolex Industries Limited, Ratnagiri addressed the students. While demonstrating the working of various fire extinguishers, Mr. Pradeep Kamble talked about the necessity of sound knowledge of safety equipments. Many types of fire extinguishers like DCP and Dry CO2 were kept for display and were used for demonstration by the students. All faculty members were also present during the demonstration.
