‘SEED IT Idol 2016-17’ a University Level Competition’s first round was organized by Student Association of MCA (SAM) and the department of MCA on 15 February, 2017 in FAMT. The competition was conducted for students of FAMT and nearby colleges. It was coordinated by Prof. Ravindra V. Kerkar and conducted by Mr. Mangesh Dude, Sr. Marketing Executive, SEED Infotech Ltd., Mumbai.
This competition was recommended by University of Mumbai. The sole purpose of this event is to identify and reward the IT Talent within the students’ community.
This competition’s first round got huge response from the students of Finolex Academy and nearby colleges. Approximately 435 students of Finolex Academy, Navnirman and Gogate Joglekar College participated in first round of this competition. Next rounds of this competition will be held at University of Mumbai.
