School Students’ Visit to FAMT Central Library and Participation in Painting Competition on International Children Book Day
On occasion of International Children Book Day, FAMT Central Library organized a Library Visit & Painting Competition for 5th to 7th standards students of Purna Prathamik Marathi Shala no. 1., Mirjole, Ratnagiri on 2nd April 2018. This program was organized under the guidance and support of Dr. Kaushal Prasad (Principal) and Dr. Milind Kirkire (Dean Academics & Chairman, LAC).
The library visit was planned to educate the school students about library, its services and importance for students. Along with, a painting competition was organized to encourage artistic creativity in school students.
Winners of Painting Competition:
First Prize – Kumar Kaustubh Anant Ambekar
Second Prize – Kumar Yash Vikas Padave
Third Prize – Kumari Saniya RavindraWadkar
The winners of painting competition were awarded with prize & Certificates and participants were awarded with participation certificates. Total 83 students visited library & 23 students took active part in painting competition.
Mr. Mahesh Bhide (Librarian) coordinated the library visit & painting Competition with Mr. Vinay Keer,Mr. Suhas Rawanang and Mrs. Pratiksha Nevarekar.
