Finolex Academy of Management & Technology celebrated Rashtriya Ekta Diwas or National Unity Day to mark the 144th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on October 31, 2019. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel played an important role in uniting India. He is also famous as an Iron Man of India and one of the founding leaders of the Republic of India.
The marathon was organized under the guidance of Dr. Sanjay B. Kulkarni, Dean-Faculty and Head of Science and Humanities. All the students and faculty members present for the programme took a pledge of national unity, integrity, and security along with ‘Run for Unity’.
It was conducted as a part of the Student Induction Programme for the students of First-Year Engineering
