A Workshop on Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Systems
The Department of Mechanical Engineering of Finolex Academy of Management and Technology, Ratnagiri conducted a Workshop on Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Systems on 9thand 10th March, 2019 for the students of third and final year Mechanical Engineering in association with M/s J. J. Engineering Works, Mirjole MIDC, Ratnagiri.
The workshop was inaugurated by Prof. V. Muralimohan. Mr. J. A. Jaygade from M/s J. J. Engineering Works was the resource person who has around 30 years experience in the field of Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning. He explained the basic components of Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Systems and demonstrated the working of Reciprocating, Rotary and Linear Compressor, Window Air Conditioner, Portable Air Conditioner, Deep Freezer and Domestic Refrigerator. He also showed formation of PUF (Poly-Urethane Foam) which is used as insulation material in refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
