The department of Mechanical Engineering conducted Parents Meet of T.E. Mechanical Engineering on 25 February, 2017. Prof J. S. Anavkar welcomed all parents for the meet. Dr. M. S. Kirkire, HoD, addressed the parents while highlighing overall functioning of the department along with co-curricular & extracurricular programs conducted/organized by the department; the future plans for various value added & add-on courses and its’ importance for placement of the students were also discussed. It was followed by an informal session of discussion between parents, students and mentor/subject teachers viz. Prof. U. D. Gulhane, Prof. M. S. Yadav, Prof. G. J. Abhyankar, Prof. H. R. Salvi, Prof. S. S. Malusare, Prof. P. B. Horambe, Prof. S. U. Mayekar and Prof. P. P. Thakur. Different laboratories in the department were introduced to parents by Prof. U. D. Gulhane, Prof. V .Muralimohan and Prof. A. S. Yekane. The session ended with vote of thanks by Prof. H. R. Salvi. All the activities during parent meet were successfully coordinated by Prof. Hemant V Chavan.
