Finolex Academy was accorded Platinum Rating in AICTE – CII Survey of Industry Linked Technical Institutes 2020. 814 institutes were shortlisted for full Survey carried by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi in association with Confederation of Indian Industry.
The objective of this Survey is to assess the status of partnership between technical institutions and industry. It has been designed keeping six basic parameters in mind and the institutes are evaluated on their industry linkages on the following six parameters in every stream separately:
- Governance
- Curriculum
- Faculty
- Infrastructure
- Services / Projects & Skills Development
- Placements
All parameters are examined purely from industry and output perspective and not from an academic perspective. The parameters have been designed to give insights into:
- The extent to which institutes have been able to meet the dynamic demands of industry-responsive education
- Institutes’ capabilities and resources to produce talent in order to meet market requirements
The institutes are given silver, gold and platinum ratings based on their performance in these parameters.
