Parents Meet of Second and Third Year Students of Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML)
The Parents Meet of Second and Third Year Computer Science and Engineering students were organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering(AI & ML) on Sunday, 21st August 2022.
The meeting was held to promote the CSE(AI & ML) department faculty interaction with the parents. and inform them about the curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities conducted in the department for students, and the functioning of the department.
The meeting began by welcoming the parents by Prof. Vrishali V. Nimbalkar, HoD, CSE(AI & ML) followed by a department presentation, which gave highlights of the department, infrastructure in the department, teaching-learning process, results of students, skill enhancement activities undertaken by the department for students, faculty activities and the plans of the department. The parents were introduced to the respective class teachers Prof. R. P. Tivarekar for SE CSE and Prof. A. N. Shetye for TE CSE and also informed parents to interact with these teachers in future for any queries regarding academics. The parents were also made aware of the mentorship system of the department. The meeting was then open for discussion.
Suggestions shared by the parents were noted by the teachers. The parents were curious to know about their child’s performance. There were 19 parents present for the meeting. Meeting ended with a vote of thanks.
