The department of Mechanical Engineering conducted Parent Meet of S.E. Mechanical Engineering on 23rd September, 2017. Prof J. S. Anavkar welcomed all the parents present for the meet. Dr. M. S. Kirkire (HoD, Mechanical Engg.) Introduced all the faculty members and briefed about the department. He also highlighted value added and skill enhancing programs/workshops conducted/organized by the department and discussed the future plans for various value added, add-on courses and its’ importance for future and placement of the students. It was followed by a discussion session in groups between parents and respective mentor/subject teachers viz. Prof. U. D. Gulhane, Prof. M. S. Yadav, Prof. S. S. Mestry, Prof. V. S. Bagade, Prof. G. J. Abhyankar, Prof. A. S. Yekane, Prof. S. U. Mayekar, Prof. T. V. Kavatkar and Prof. P. P. Thakur. The session ended with vote of thanks. Prof. M L Naik, Prof. P. B. Horambe and Prof. P. S. Tupe coordinated the meet successfully.
