Exciting News from the Standards Club!
We’re proud to announce the establishment of the Standards Club in the Department of Electrical Engineering, supported by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Govt of India.
Al SE students are now esteemed members of this club, dedicated to exploring, understanding, and promoting awareness about Indian Standards in both daily life and domain-specific knowledge.
On 27th February 2024, we held our inaugural activity: an orientation session from 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM. A fantastic turnout of 33 students joined us to learn about the club’s objectives and operations.
During the session, our members also participated in the National Level Quiz on Indian Standards 2.0, showcasing their knowledge and dedication. They were rewarded with participation certificates to commemorate their involvement.
We’re grateful to Prof. Nikhil Kasar, Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, for his mentorship and guidance in this endeavour.
Dr. Jayant Mane , HOD, Dept of Electrical Engineering guided the whole process of formation of the standard club.
