NVDIA GPU Grant Awarded to Dr. Vinayak A. Bharadi and Prof. Santosh V. Jadhav

Dr. Vinayak A. Bharadi and Prof. Santosh V. Jadhav applied for NVDIA GPU Grant on February 06, 2017 for research in Improving performance of Weber Local Descriptor based feature Vector Extraction of Multimodal Biometric System consisting of Iris and Online Handwritten Signature. They were awarded Grant of NVDIA Titan X Pascal GPU worth $1600 (INR 1.07 Lacs) on February 15, 2017. The hardware will be dispatched from NVDIA and it will be used in IT Labs for implementation of the Proposal in Visual Studio .NET 2015 CUDA Framework.Dr. S S Goilkar, Dean- R&D, and R&DCC departmental coordinator Ms. Swati Powar assisted in the process.
