NSS Unit Held 7th AWIM Regional Olympics
The NSS Unit of Finolex Academy of Management and Technology, Ratnagiri, in collaboration with Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. Mumbai organized the 7th AWIM (A World in Motion) Regional Olympics on December 15, 2023.
The Inauguration and Deep Prajwalan were conducted with great enthusiasm by Principal Dr Kaushal Prasad and Mr Sameer Vanjare, a representative from Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., Mumbai. The event showcased the remarkable participation of 20 teams, featuring Skimmer (5th std.) and Jet Toy (6th std.), with around 80 enthusiastic students and 20 dedicated teachers from various schools in the Ratnagiri region. The event received overwhelming responses from both students and teachers.
Prizes were awarded for Overall Winner and 1st Runner up, in each toy group accompanied by six additional prizes recognizing outstanding achievements in track events. Dr Milind S Kirkire (HOD, Mechanical Engineering), Prof. Umesh Samant (Program Officer, NSS), and Prof. Priya A Potdar (Assistant Professor, Electrical Engineering) awarded the prizes to the winners of the competition.
Prof. Umesh K Samant (Program Officer), Mr. Pranav Thakur (Deputy Registrar, Academics), Prof. Harsha N Kelkar (Program Officer), Prof. Sachin S Gurav (Member, NSS Unit), Prof. Priyanka A. Date (Member, NSS Unit), Prof. Hemant Chavan (Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering) and Prof. Priya A. Potdar (Assistant Professor, Electrical Engineering) coordinated the event under the guidance of Principal Dr. Kaushal Prasad.
