A Seminar on National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) was conducted by the department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering on 25th January, 2019 for E&TC students. The seminar for SE & T.E E&TC was conducted by Prof. N. S. Sakhalkar and Prof. S. D. Mainkar respectively.
Prof. N. S. Sakhalkar and Prof. S. D. Mainkar introduced NPTEL, its importance, structure and usefulness for enhanced learning. They shared information on various ongoing NPTEL courses and demonstrated the registration process to NPTEL courses. The seminar helped the students to get insight into NPTEL Online Courses and served following objectives:
- To understand structure of NPTEL
- To understand the importance of NPTEL for enhancing the knowledge and learning new concepts on their own.
The students of SE E&TC registered to a variety of NPTEL courses viz.Analog Electronics, Joy of Computing using Python, Principles of Signals and Systems, and Principles of Communication Systems. The students of TE E&TC registered for the courses such as Microprocessor and Microcontroller, CMOS Digital VLSI Design, and Problem solving through programming in C. The e seminar was useful to aqcuint the students with NPTEL and registering to NPTEL course.
