NPTEL Awareness Session

The National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) is a joint initiative by the IITs and IISc to offer online courses and certification in various engineering disciplines. The “NPTEL Awareness Session” was organized by the Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department (EXTC) on 29th July 2024.

The session introduced students to NPTEL and its offerings. Resource persons guided students on the procedure to enrol in NPTEL courses and the benefits of NPTEL certification and demonstrated the use of NPTEL resources for academic and professional growth.

Prof. Amol R. Sutar, Dr. Vijay M Galshetwar, Prof. Vinayak. D. Chavan, Prof. Saurabh S. Athalye and Prof. Madhura K. Zagade, Assistant Professors of the EXTC department were the resource persons for this NPTEL awareness session. These faculty members gave detailed information on NPTEL the latest available courses, and the registration process to the students of SE, TE and BE EXTC. The registration process for a few courses was done by students during the session.

Objectives of the Session:

1. To introduce students to NPTEL and its offerings.

2. To guide students on how to enrol in NPTEL courses.

3. To explain the benefits of NPTEL certification.

4. To demonstrate the use of NPTEL resources for academic and professional growth.

The NPTEL awareness session was organized by the Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department (EXTC) under the guidance of Dr. S.V. Chougule, the Head of EXTC Department. This session was successfully attended by SE, TE and BE EXTC students.
