Nature Club Held an Exhibition on Flora & Fauna of Konkan
February 17: Nature Club, FAMT, held an Exhibition on Flora & Fauna of Konkan on the occasion of Utopia2k19 on 17th February, 2019. Mr. Mayur Vora, Manging Director Mapro Foods Pvt. Ltd. inaugurated the exhibition in the gracious presence of Aruna M. Katara, President Hope Foundation and Ms. Kruti Jain, Managing Director, Kumar Urban Development Pvt. Ltd.
The Exhibition included information on –
- Medicinal plants
- Ornamental plants
- Information of Plastic eating warms
- Information of Aqua phonic & Hydro phonic
- Paper bags making with demonstration
- Green initiatives by FAMT – Solar power , Biogas plant, and Rain water harvesting
- Information on Butterflies
- Wild life photographs
- E-waste management
- Eco Enzyme
The Nature club members shared information to the guests and visitors with PowerPoint Presentation, photos and charts on plants, worms, animals, insects etc and encouraged them to use paper bags instead plastic with a demonstration on making paper bags. The green initiatives of FAMT like Solar power Facility, Biogas plant, and Rain Water Harvesting Facility were on display for the visitors.
Prof. U. K. Samant guided and supported the club members in organizing the exhibition successfully.
