MCA Department Organized a Seminar on Intellectual Property Rights
A one-day seminar on “Intellectual Property Rights” was conducted by Mr Ajinkya S. Naphade Assistant Professor, the Department of Master of Computer Application in association with the Department of Computer Science, ASP College Devrukh [Autonomous] on Saturday, 16th March 2024 for the students of the Department of Computer Science, ASP College Devrukh [Autonomous].
The seminar commenced with a warm welcome by Mr. Pratik V. Lingayat. Mr. Ajinkya S. Naphade commenced his session with “What is property?”. He added various points like patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, IPR infringement and Enforcement, different laws in IPR etc. The students asked queries regarding IPR and other concepts.
Ms. Poonam Bhopalkar-Jadhav (HoD, Department of Computer Science, ASP College) expressed a vote of thanks. Prof. Ajinkya S. Naphade coordinated the event. This seminar was conducted under the MoU. A total of 47 students were present for the seminar.
