Industrial Visit to Finolex Industries Limited
The department of Chemical Engineering organized an Industrial Visit to Finolex Industries Limited, Ranpar, Ratnagiri, on 1st and 2nd March 2017 for final year students. The objective of the visit was to give exposure to various unit operations and processes of chemical engineering. An emphasis was given on the visit to Effluent Treat Plant [ETP], where waste water is treated, as it is a part of study during 8th semester of final year.
During this visit Mr. L. D. Ghule, in charge of the ETP, guided the students thoroughly regarding the working of ETP. Mr. Yogesh Teredesai and Mr. Mali also played a valuable role during the visit. Prof. D.C Dengale was the coordinator of the visit. Prof.A. K. Bandsode and Prof. Y. A. Landge accompanied the student during this visit.
