Mechanical Engineering Students on Industrial Visit to Aboo Baker Ice & Cold Storage
The Department of Mechanical Engineering organized an industrial visit to Aboo Baker Ice & Cold Storage, MIDC, Mirjole, Ratnagiri on 9th and 10th February, 2018 for the students of final year Mechanical Engineering.
The visit was organized for the subject “Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning”. The students gained knowledge about an Ice plant working on vapour compression refrigeration system. They also got the opportunity to observe working of three cylinder reciprocating compressor and induced draft cooling tower very closely.
Prof. V S Bagade, Prof. S S Gurav, Prof. S U Mayekar, and Prof. R M Rasal were the coordinators for this industrial visit. The department is much thankful to the staff of Aboobaker Ice & Cold Storage for kind co-operation.
