Parent Meeting
The Department of Information Technology, Finolex Academy of Management and Technology, Ratnagiri organized Online Parent–Teacher Meeting on 7th March 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM through Google Meet. The meeting started with a welcome address by Prof. Madhura K. Zagade, Parent Meet Coordinator, who welcomed all the parents, faculty, staff and explained the purpose of organizing the meeting.
The main objectives of the Parent–Teacher Meeting:
- To discuss the Institute rules and regulations, department information and methodologies of teaching and learning.
- To inform parents about the academic progress and overall performance of students.
- To update parents regarding curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities conducted by the department.
- To discuss placement preparation activities, internships, and training programs organized for students.
Dr. Vinayak A. Bharadi, Head of the Department of Information Technology, addressed the parents and provided a detailed overview of the department, academic curriculum, teaching–learning practices, and the continuous efforts taken by the department to improve students’ academic performance. He also highlighted various academic activities such as workshops, seminars, guest lectures, and technical events organized for students. Furthermore, he briefed the parents about the placement preparation initiatives conducted by the department, including aptitude training, technical skill development sessions, mock interviews, and career guidance programs. In addition, he explained the various student development programs and encouraged students to actively participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities to enhance their technical skills, communication abilities, and overall personality development.
Many valuable suggestions from the parents were noted down. Parents actively participated in the discussion and appreciated the efforts taken by the department for the academic and professional development of students. Feedback forms were also circulated among parents. The meeting was concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Madhura K. Zagade.
