IT Department & ACM Hosted Fierce Freshers 2023
The Department of Information Technology and Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Students Chapter organized “Fierce Freshers 2023” on 09th September, 2023 to welcome second-year students in the department.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of respected Principal Dr. K. K. Prasad, Dr. V. A. Bharadi, Head – IT Department, Prof. A. B. Vartak, ACM Faculty In-charge, all the Faculty, staff members and the students of the IT Department. The ACM Committee members welcomed all dignitaries and faculty members. The program started with a brief introduction and lamp lightening and worship of goddess Saraswati.
Dr. V. A. Bharadi welcomed all and introduced the students to the IT branch. He gave valuable guidance to students about choosing their career path and start working in the right direction. Dr. V. A. Bharadi appreciated ACM student coordinators for their efforts in systematic organization of the event. Dr. Kaushal Prasad motivated all students for holistic development and approach to enhance their skill set along with academics as required for good placement and a bright career. TE and BE students arranged different fun games for SE students to boost their confidence, and enable them to actively participate and interact with their seniors.
The event was successfully concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Shardul Salvi, Student Chairman- ACM. The event was coordinated successfully by Prof. A. B. Vartak under the guidance of Dr. V. A. Bharadi, the Head of the Department.
