ISHRAE Installation Ceremony 2021-22
The Department of Mechanical Engineering established the ISHRAE FAMT Students Chapter for the society year 2021-22 on August 20th 2021.
The ceremony was conducted in presence of Dr Kaushal Prasad (Principal), Dr Milind S Kirkire (Dean Academics, Head of Mechanical Dept.), Prof. V. S. Bagade (Faculty Advisor ISHRAE), Prof. S. U. Mayekar (Faculty Advisor ISHRAE), the Faculty members of the department and ISHRAE THANE Chapter Office Bearers– Mr Rajan Gaonkar (President ISHRAE Thane Chapter), Mr Sanjay Verma (West Zone Head), Mr Umais Momin (Student Chair), Ms Hemlata Patil (Secretary), Ms . Nivedita Jadhav.
This year’s ceremony was different from the past ones. As everything is at a halt due to COVID-19 Pandemic, the ISHRAE Chapter Installation ceremony was held online through Google Meet. Dr Kaushal Prasad, Principal, FAMT welcomed all the dignitaries and ISHRAE members and appreciated the success of the ISHRAE Students Chapter in the year 2021-22. He also congratulated the ISHRAE Thane Chapter and Mechanical Engineering Department for the efforts put in for the success of the Students Chapter. Dr Milind Kirkire, HoD, Mechanical Department, FAMT also welcomed the dignitaries and offered the best wishes to the new members of the ISHRAE Student Chapter. It was followed by a presentation on Activities of the FAMT ISHRAE Student Chapter in previous years and during the lockdown.
Mr Rajan Gaonkar, President ISHRAE Thane Chapter highlighted the role of ISHRAE to explore the leadership qualities of students and elaborated on the role, activities, programs, facilities, collaborations, and certification courses of ISHRAE. He emphasized the benefits to the student members and the institute of being a part of this vibrant society.
Mr Sanjay Verma held the Oath taking ceremony for Student President Mr Avadhut Soman, President-Elect Mr Yash Jadhav, Secretary Mr Shubham Shinde, Treasurer Mr Ajinkya Tikekar, Elect CWC Member Mr Rahul Pujare, Elect CWC Member Mr Sahil Chavan, Elect CWC Member Mr Siddhesh Chavan, Elect women Chair Ms Prajakta Thakur, Elect K-12 Head Ms Purnashree Pawar, Elect Event Management Head Mr Shivam Vanjari, Elect Travel Management Head Mr Jasim Sarang, Elect publicity Head Mr Chinmay Naik, Elect Membership Head Mr Rajendra Sarak, Elect Marketing Head Mr Prathmesh Shetty. The program ended successfully with a vote of thanks given by Mr Avadhut Soman.
The program was coordinated by FAMT ISHRAE Student members under the guidance of the Faculty Advisors Prof. V. S. Bagade and Prof. S. U. Mayekar, Dr M. S. Kirkire, Dean Academics and the Head of Mechanical Engineering Department and Dr Kaushal Prasad, Principal.
