IEDC, IIC and IPR Held a Workshop on IPR and IP Management on Startup
IEDC, IIC and IPR Cell organized a workshop on IPR and IP Management on Start-up on 16th April 2024 as per the IIC calendar activity for the year. Dr. Vinayak Bharadi was the resource person for the event. Sir has 246 research publications, 8 granted patents and 6 registered copyrights to his credits.
Mr. Sahil Terase from BE Mechanical introduced about necessity of the workshop and introduced resource person to the gathering.
The workshop mainly focused on two aspects:
- Idea about IPR & IP Management for Start-up and
- Process and useful steps for patent filing or getting IPR approval for start-up.
Dr Vinayak Bharadi shared a live demonstration of all official websites for patent and copyright filing after an illustrative discussion on topics through an interactive PowerPoint presentation.
67 students from various departments of the institute actively participated in this program. A few faculty members Prof. S H Mhabdi, Prof. P S Kadam and Dr. Sandeep Chawda also attended the event.
Prof. Sumit Malusare and Prof Jayesh S Anavkar members of the Innovation and Entrepreneur Development Cell (IEDC) coordinated the event under the guidance of Dr Kaushal Prasad [Principal], Dr Sandeep Chawda [Dean R &D, Convenor of IEDC]. Prof. J S Anavkar expressed a vote of thanks at the end of the day.
