FAMT hosted the interaction session between Higher and Technical Education Minister Hon. Vinod Tawade and the Management Representatives, Principals and Professors from different senior and technical colleges across Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg district, on 21st December 2018.
Education Minister Hon. Vinod Tawade; Dr. Dhanraj Mane(Director-Higher Education), Dr. Rajendra Dhamnaskar ( Joint Director- Higher Education), Mr. Deepak Mukadam (Management Representative University of Mumbai), Mr. Balasaheb Mane (Ex. MLA), Mr. Tanaji Kakade (Management Representative FAMT) and Principal Dr. Kaushal Prasad graced the dais with their valuable presence.
Mr. Vinod Tawade stated that the aim of the direct interaction was to get the feedback of all the stakeholders to the various schemes of the Government, to get the ideas about making the education more practical and improve the quality of education. He added that perspective plan should be made to get trained human resource with the joint consult of higher education, business and agriculture sector. He conveyed various upcoming revolutions in the system of higher and technical education.
Around 350 members from different Senior and Technical Colleges were present for the programme who asked questions about many important points such as Quality Research, Skill based learning, Research Funding, Practical education etc. The programme ended with Vote of Thanks.
