Information Technology Department Organized Parents Meeting AY 2024-25
FAMT-Information Technology Department Organized a Parents Meeting for SE, TE and BE students on 01 March 2025 at 11.00 am. The main objective of the meeting was to discuss the institute’s rules and regulations, methodologies of teaching & learning for the overall welfare of students, academic support services available at the institution, and students’ performance and progress.
Prof. Vinayak A. Bharadi, the Head of the Information Technology Department, welcomed all the parents, faculty and staff and led the discussion. He introduced parents to the Vision and Mission of the institute and the departments, activities organized at the institute and & department level, attendance criteria (75% according to MoU norms), semester results, infrastructure, mentorship details, skill development-related activities, focused on quality education, library facilities and general criteria of the institute. They also highlighted the Institute’s best practices for effective teaching and learning processes and how it helps in the placement and higher studies.
Parents were encouraged to appreciate student’s participation in all academic and co-curricular activities. The Parents Meeting came to an end with the conclusion that the progress and development of the students depend on the joint efforts of parents and teachers. A total of 15 parents were present for the meeting and interacted one-on-one with faculty members. Parents’ suggestions on the interests and learning of their wards were noted.
