A Web report on Online Parents Meeting AY 2023-24
The Information Technology Department Organized an online Parents Meeting for SE, TE and BE students on 20-04-2024.
The main objective of the meeting was to discuss the institute’s policies for the overall welfare of students, academic support services available at the institution, and students’ performance and progress.
Prof. Sankareswari welcomed all the parents, students, faculty and staff present for the meeting. Dr. Vinayak A. Bharadi, the Head of the Information Technology Department, led the discussion.
Dr. V. Bharadi, the Head of Department, introduced the Vision and Mission of the institute and the department, and activities organized at the institute level & department level, attendance criteria (75% according to Govt. norms), focus on quality education, library facilities and general criteria of the institute. They also highlighted the Institute’s best practices for effective teaching and learning processes and how they help placement and higher studies.
The Parents were encouraged to appreciate student’s participation in all academic and co-curricular activities. The Parent’s Meeting came to an end with the conclusion that the progress and development of the students depend on the joint efforts of parents and teachers. A total of 22 parents were present for the meeting. The parents interacted one-on-one with the faculty. Parents’ suggestions on the interests and learning of their wards were noted.
