An Industrial Workshop was organized by the department of Mechanical Engineering in association with MITSUBISHI Electric India at Andheri, Mumbai on 9th February, 2018. The main objective of the workshop was to give thorough knowledge of AC (Air Conditioning) System to the students. Total 35 ISHRAE student members from S.E. and T.E. Mechanical participated in the workshop.
Resource person Mr. Rajkumar Sankar Iyer (Consultant Project Sales-Mitsubishi Electric) explained the Air Conditioning System and its classification, heating and cooling load calculations and various parameters affecting it. He also highlighted various job opportunities for Mechanical Engineering students in HVAC Field.
Mr. Sandeep Shinde (ISHRAE Thane Chapter Student Chair), Ms. Nivedita Jadhav, Mr. Bhartesh Nakhate (Sales Division- Mitsubishi Electric), Mr. Rajkumar Sankar Iyer (Consultant Project Sales-Mitsubishi Electric) made lot of efforts for a successful workshop.
The workshop was coordinated by FAMT ISHRAE Faculty Advisor Prof. Hemant V. Chavan and Prof. Abhijit M. Date under the guidance of Principal – Dr. Kaushal Prasad, Head of Mechanical Engineering Department – Dr. M. S. Kirkire.
