Industrial Visit to Aboobaker Ice & Cold Storage, Ratnagiri
The Department of Mechanical Engineering of Finolex Academy of Management and Technology, Ratnagiri, organized an Industrial Visit to Aboobaker Ice & Cold Storage, MIDC, Mirjole, Ratnagiri on 29th March 2025 for the students of third-year Mechanical Engineering.
The visit was organized for the Course in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (MEL603). The students learned about the ice plant working on the vapour compression refrigeration system. They got an opportunity to observe the working of three three-cylinder reciprocating compressors and the induced draft cooling tower very closely.
A total of 30 students were present during the visit. Prof. V S Bagade and Prof. S S Gurav were the coordinators for this industrial visit. FAMT is very much thankful to all the staff of Aboobaker Ice & Cold Storage for their kind cooperation.
