The Department of Mechanical Engineering of Finolex Academy of Management and Technology, Ratnagiri organized an Industrial Visit to Aboobaker Ice & Cold Storage, MIDC, Mirjole, Ratnagiri on 9th & 10thMarch, 2019 for the students of third and final year Mechanical Engineering.
The visit was organized for the subject “Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning”. The student gained knowledge about Ice Plant working on vapour Compression Refrigeration System. They also got opportunity to observe the working of three cylinder Reciprocating Compressor and Induced Draft Cooling tower very closely. Total 148 students were present during the visit.
Prof. V. S. Bagade, Prof. S. S. Gurav, Prof. H. V. Chavan, Prof. S. U. Mayekar, and Prof. R. M. Rasal were the coordinators for this industrial visit. We are very much thankful to all the staff of Aboobaker Ice & Cold Storage for their kind co-operation.
