Industrial Visit at Automotive Corporation of Goa Limited (ACGL)
The department of Mechanical Engineering organized Industrial Visit to Automotive Corporation of Goa Limited (ACGL), Sattari, Goa; on 4th of March 2017 for B.E Mechanical Engineering students. The visit was organized with the support and guidance from Dr. Kaushal Prasad and Dr. Milind Kirkire, Head, Mechanical Engineering Department.
The entire visit was successfully planned and coordinated by Prof. Mahadev Naik and Prof Priyanka Tupe. Total 34 students of B.E. Mechanical along with 2 faculty members visited ACGL. Along with the staff members, students of B.E Mechanical specially Mr. Keyur Rege and Mr. Rajat Prabhu took the efforts and initiative under the continuous guidance of Prof. M L Naik. Various aspects of vehicle body engineering along with different processes carried were observed.
Visit was very informative and gave good learning experience to students. The department is extremely thankful to Mr. J C Natekar (Sr.Manager, ACGL, Goa) for guiding the students throughout the visit and Mr.Uday Rege (Regional Manager GIDC, Bicholim) for helping to coordinate the visit.
