Establishment of Incubation Center for Alumni
Incubation Center has been set up in the Department of Information Technology. Prof. Omkar Dattaram Dike will head the center which is meant to benefit our Alumni. The students, availing this facility centre, should read the details, terms and conditions of Incubation Centre.
1. Background:
The department of information Technology has setup the Incubation Center at FAMT Ratnagiri from 2017. The purpose of this program is to promote the culture of innovations and entrepreneurship among the students. Considering current scope for entrepreneurship in the field of Information Technology (IT), we realize that there is a
need to create high class incubation facilities with suitable physical infrastructure in terms of capital equipment and operating facilities.
2. Objective:
The objective of the program is to promote self-employment in students from rural areas and encourage start-ups in IT related subjects of their interest. It will provide them with necessary facilities and other value added services.
