Webinar on Innovations and Intellectual Property Rights
A Webinar on Innovation and Intellectual Property Rights was organized by the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering on 05 March 2022 for all FAMT faculty and E&TC students. Dr Anand Kakade, Founder – Anand Techno-creations, Satara and Dean R&D at RIT Engineering College, Sakharale, was invited to delivered the session.
Prof. Rashmi R. Kulkarni introduced Dr Anand Kakade and extended warm welcome. Dr Sharada V. Chougule, the HoD, presented the objectives of the webinar i.e., understanding innovation, Intellectual Property Rights, types of patents and procedures to file patents. Dr Kaushal Prasad, Principal, FAMT shared an informative talk on innovations.
Dr Anand Kakade explored all the topic in detail with case studies of commercial products. He also explained ways to convert projects into a product. He explained the technical aspects of 12 commercial products launched by him in the market e.g. world’s first curd making machine, and IOT based saline monitoring system which was tested in Krishna hospital, Karad.
The webinar was attended by a total of 46 students and faculty. The session was ended with a vote of thanks.
