Ideathon Held by IT Department
The Department of Information Technology, Finolex Academy of Management and Technology, Ratnagiri, organized a programme – Ideathon on 2nd August 2025, for the BE IT students to help them finalize their Major Project topics.
The programme aimed to inspire students to develop innovative and impactful ideas by collaborating in teams, researching emerging technologies, and aligning their ideas with industry trends. It enabled BE IT students to brainstorm and present innovative ideas for their final year major project based on originality, feasibility, and relevance. It also helped students to identify real-world problems and propose technical solutions.
A total of 23 teams participated in this event. Each group of students presented their project ideas through short pitches. Faculty panels evaluated the ideas and provided suggestions for improvement. Constructive feedback helped students to refine their proposals and select a final topic for their major projects.
The event was coordinated by Prof. Madhura K Zagade under the guidance of Dr. Vinayak A. Bharadi, Professor & Head of the Information Technology Department.
