Guru Purnima Celebration and Introduction of EESA

Electrical Engineering Student Association celebrated ‘GURU PURNIMA’ and also introduced EESA members on Friday, 14th July, 2017 at 3:15pm. Guru Purnima is an Indian festival that is celebrated as per the Hindu Moon Sign calendar to express reverence towards your Guru, your teacher or mentors. The HOD of Electrical Department Prof. Suhas Mhabadi along with faculty were invited for the occasion. The programme began with lighting the lamp to offer prayers to Goddess Saraswati. The faculty was felicitated by the students with roses. The EESA faculty- incharge Prof. J. J. Mane addressed the students in speech. The students of SE, TE and BE from Electrical engineering attended the event.

On this occasion of Guru Purnima, new members of Electrical Engineering Student Association were introduced as follows:

  8. Decoration &Sound Committee –Tanuja Patil
  9. Sponsership Committee – Minal Patil
