Guru Purnima Celebration and Introducing EESA
Electrical Engineering Student Association celebrated ‘GURU PURNIMA’ and also introduced EESA members on Friday, 27th July, 2018. Guru Purnima is an Indian festival that is celebrated as per the Hindu Moon Sign calendar to express reverence towards Gurus, teachers and mentors.
Dr. Kaushal K Prasad, Principal, was invited on the occasion. The programme commenced with lighting the lamp to offer prayers to Goddess Saraswati. The faculty members were felicitated by the students. Dr Kaushal Prasad, Principal, and Prof. S. H. Mhabadi, Head of Electrical Engineering Department, addressed the students about Guru Purnima. Prof. M. S. Modak, EESA Faculty-Incharge, introduced EESA and its forthcoming events to the students. The students of SE, TE and BE Electrical engineering attended the event.
