First-Year Engineering Parents’ Meeting
A Parents’ Meeting was held for First-Year Engineering students on 1 November 2025 at FAMT. The session was presided over by the Principal, Dr. Kaushal Prasad, and the Head of Department, Dr. Dhammapal S. Nangare, in the presence of other faculty members and parents.
The meeting was interactive and included discussions on IA-I performance, term work, and submission deadlines. Key points discussed included examination schedules, preparation strategies, and the importance of term work and project submissions. Emphasis was also placed on students’ regular attendance, discipline, and overall development.
Parents were guided on effective ways to support their wards in their academic journey. Mr. Pranav Thakur guided the parents on the effective use of the ERP system to remain updated on their wards’ progress. Parents actively participated by sharing their concerns and suggestions, making the session productive and informative.
The session concluded with the HoD and other faculty members addressing queries raised by parents regarding academics. The meeting ended on a positive note, with parents expressing appreciation for the guidance and support provided by the institute. The meeting aimed to foster collaboration between parents and faculty to ensure student success.
