The Department of Chemical Engineering organized an Industrial Visit to Finolex Industries Limited, Ranpar, Ratnagiri, on 2nd March, 2019. The visit was organized for Final Year Chemical Engineering students with an objective of giving exposure to various unit operations and processes of Chemical Engineering. The emphasis was given on the control unit and Effluent Treatment Plant [ETP] where the waste water is treated as it’s a part of curriculam of 8th Semester of Final Year Chemical Engineering .
During this visit Mr. L. D. Ghule, in charge of the ETP, guided the students thoroughly regarding the working of ETP. Mr.Yogesh Teredesai and Mr. Ramesh Dohipode also played a valuable role during the visit. Prof. D.C Dengale was the coordinator of the visit. Prof. S. B. Bobade and Prof. S. S. Kadlag accompanied the student on this visit.
