Field Visit to Marine Syndicate Private Ltd
On Thursday, January 7th, 2025, the Mechanical Engineering Students Association (MESA) organized a field visit to Marine Syndicate Private Limited, Katale Port, Saitwade. Mr. Sadiq Kapde, a Marine Engineer, provided an introductory session about the company’s operations and the vessel. A total of 33 students of BE Mechanical Engg, along with Prof Hemant V Chavan, participated in the field visit.
The visit was a significant learning experience for the students. It gave them a clear understanding of marine operations and motivated them to pursue advanced knowledge in ship maintenance and control systems.
The entire field visit was successfully coordinated by the MESA students team under the guidance of Prof. Gayatri M Kirkire Prof. Hemant V Chavan and Dr. Milind S Kirkire, Head of Mechanical Engineering Department.
