Expert Lecture on Role and Challenges as a Chemical Engineer in Pharmaceutical Industry
The Department of Chemical Engineering organized an expert lecture on Role and Challenges as a Chemical Engineer in Pharmaceutical Industry on 12th October 2022. Ms Priti Patil, alumnus from the 2016 batch and Assistant Manager in VAV Lipids Pvt. Ltd. and was invited to interact with Third Year and Final Year Chemical Engineering students, with the objective of awareness about the role and challenges of a Chemical Engineer in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
The lecture was arranged in collaboration with the Association of Chemical Engineering Students (ACES) and began in the presence of the Head of the Department, Dr Nitin Kanse and Prof. P. A. Giri. Ms Priti Patil shared her experience with the role of an engineer and the challenges ahead of them in the pharma industry. She also shared her own academic experience at FAMT and the importance of gaining fundamental knowledge for upcoming technological advancements. Final-year Chemical Engineering students coordinated the event successfully. Ms Purva Vanjari hosted the program and all faculty members of the Chemical Engineering Department were present for the event.
The lecture was attended by 43 students and was coordinated successfully by Prof. P. A. Giri.
