Expert Lecture On Opportunities and Challenges in Oil and Gas Industries
The Department of Chemical Engineering organized an Expert Lecture on Alumni Guest Lecture on ‘Opportunities and Challenges in Oil and Gas Industries’ for SE, TE and BE students on 10th April 2021. The expert speaker was Dr. Santosh Walke, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, National University of Science and Technology, Muscat, Oman. Dr. Walke talked about the proven oil reserves across the globe and also discussed the process of crude oil extraction in details. He also talked about the career opportunities in Oil and Gas Industries. He also threw light on challenges faced by this sector.
The lecture was arranged by Prof. A. K. Bandsode and coordinated by Prof. S. S. Kadlag and Prof. S. B. Bobde. All faculty members attended the lecture.
