E&TC Department Organized Parent Meet
The Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering conducted a Parent Meet for S.E., T.E. and B.E. Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Students (2023-24 batch) on 30th March 2024 at the institute.
A meeting was conducted by Dr. Sharada. V. Chougule, HOD EXTC, class teachers and faculty members. Prof. S. S. Athalye welcomed all the parents stating the purpose of arranging the parent meet. T&P Head, Prof. Kishor Bhosale explained the details of the Training and Placement activities of the institute.
Dr Sharada. V. Chougule discussed about Vision-Mission of the department, the Honors and Minors program, the Teaching Learning process, the Evaluation process, Co-curricular and extracurricular activities, the Mentoring system in the department, and achievements of faculty and students. She also discussed the expectations from parents in monitoring the academic and co-curricular, extracurricular progress of students regularly.
The class teachers shared the details of student attendance and academic progress with parents. An interaction session was conducted to understand the views of parents about department activities, teaching-learning, their suggestions and feedback.
Many valuable suggestions from the parents were duly noted down. Parents appreciated many activities of the department and suggested continuing the same. Feedback forms were also circulated among parents. The meeting was concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. S. S. Athalye.
