Electrical Engineering Department successfully organized its technical festival ‘Elektra2k19’ based on a theme – Evolution of Electrical Field from 31stJanuary to 1stFebruary, 2019. Elektra symbolizes shinning bright.
ELEKTRA 2K19 commemorated with an inaugural ceremony. Mr. Arjun Gadre, Managing Director – Gadre Marine Export Pvt. Ltd., was the Chief Guest on the inaugural ceremony. Elektra 2K19 started with lighting of the lamp, and introduction of the Chief Guest. Dr. Kaushal Prasad, Principal, Prof. Suhas Mhabadi, HoD, Prof. Mangesh Modak, EESA Faculty In-charge, Faculty members and HoDs of other departments were present for the ceremony.
Viraj Brid, EESA Head and Rakshanda Savekar, LR, presented the report of EESA. The chief guest Mr. Arjun Gadre delivered the inaugural speech. All the contests viz. Techno-taskforce, Debate, Quiz, Mock Campus, Treasure Hunt, Chess Blitz, Brainteasers, LAN Gaming, Art Elixir (art exhibition), Technical Presentation, Genius Junior Science exhibition and Photography were efficiently carried out by the committees. The prize distribution was held on 1st February. Best Chief Coordinator Award was given to Ashish Mali for his creative event ideas especially in Techno Task Force. Elektra 2K19, the tech-fest, was successfully organized with active participation of the students from different colleges.
