Ek Ped Ma Ke Naam (Plantation Event)
On 30th September 2024, Finolex Academy of Management and Technology (FAMT), Ratnagiri, successfully organized the Ek Ped Ma Ke Naam plantation program. The event aimed to promote environmental awareness and encourage participants to honor their mothers by planting a tree in their name, symbolizing care and nurturing.
A total of 23 volunteers , staff, faculties etc. actively participated in the event. The volunteers planted saplings across the FAMT campus, contributing to a greener environment while dedicating the trees to their mothers.
The event highlighted the importance of environmental conservation and personal responsibility, linking the act of planting a tree with the love and care provided by a mother. The participants pledged to look after the saplings, ensuring their growth as a tribute to their mothers.The Ek Ped Ma Ke Naam program successfully instilled a sense of environmental responsibility and emotional connection, making it a memorable and meaningful event for all involved.
