Educational Visits of Higher Secondary Institutes in Ratnagiri
In the month of November and December, various Higher Secondary Institutes visited Finolex Academy with Science students of 12th standard. The objective was to make students aware of the engineering career opportunities and to give them practical insights into Engineering Applications of Science and Technology.
Visits started with the welcome speech by Dr Kaushal Prasad, Principal FAMT, followed by the Career Counselling sessions. Career Counselling sessions were focused on introducing engineering to the students, making them knowledgeable about various career prospects of engineering and spreading awareness about admission procedures and eligibility criteria for engineering admissions.
After the Career Counselling Sessions, students visited all engineering departments viz. Mechanical, Information Technology, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication and Computer Science (AIML) and engineering laboratories. In the laboratories, students were made aware of engineering applications of theoretical sciences that they were studying in higher secondary.
