Distinguished Alumni Talk on Higher Studies
The Department of Electronics Engineering organized an Alumni Talk on Higher Studies on 28 August 2021 through online mode. Our distinguished alumnus of 2016 Batch, Mr Ajinkya Pednekar interacted with the students of Electronics Engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering from FAMT. The objective of the Alumni Talk was to brief students on how to plan and prepare for MS.
Mr Ajinkya is currently working as a Software Developer at AC2 Inc. in Houston, Texas, United States. After completing BE in Electronics Engineering, he did Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Computing and pursued MS in Computer Science at the University of Houston, Clear Lake, US, in 2018.
In his talk, Mr Ajinkya informed students about the preparation for the competitive exams for MS, visa procedure, monetary requirements, when and how to apply for various Universities, possibilities of getting internships while doing MS and how to cope up with living abroad. The talk was then open for discussion with students. Mr Ajinkya made students aware of the bright prospects that students have after completing their MS and highly encouraged them to undertake it.
A total of 19 participants joined the talk. The talk was organized and coordinated by Prof. Vrishali V. Nimbalkar with the cooperation of all the faculty members of the department.
