Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering Held Parents Meet
The department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering conducted a Parents Meet for S.E. and T.E. Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Students (2022-23 batch) on 21 August 2022 at the institute.
A common meeting at the institute level was conducted in the presence of the principal – Dr Kaushal Prasad, all Deans, Heads of departments and class teachers. Principal Dr Kaushal Prasad, emphasized various points like the Purpose of parent meetings, Training activities, Placements and Higher Education details, Institute Recognitions, and Expectations from Parents. Later, a separate meeting was conducted at the department in the seminar hall.
Prof. N A Marathe welcomed all the parents. The Head of the department Dr Sharada. V. Chougule addressed all parents on the E&TC department, the Vision-Mission, the Honors and Minors program, the Teaching Learning process, Co-curricular and extracurricular activities, Mentoring system in the department, Alumni interaction and achievements of faculty and students.
Many valuable suggestions from the parents were duly noted down. Parents appreciated many activities of the department and suggested continuing the same. Feedback forms were also circulated amongst parents. The meeting was concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. N A Marathe.
