Workshop on Circuit Simulation

The technological advancements have helped electronic circuits to become an important part of human lives. About this, the electronic circuits can be designed and tested in various test cases of input and output signal requirements. Hence, it is very much necessary to make the students aware of the basics of electrical and electronic circuits so that the students can take efforts to develop and design the circuits. It will clear their concepts and lead to development and innovation in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Implementing and debugging hardware circuits directly is often not financially and technically feasible, hence simulating circuits initially is the solution.

The Workshop on Circuit Simulation was initiated by Prof. Suhas H. Mhabadi, head of the Electrical Engineering Department. The Department of Electrical Engineering in collaboration with the Electrical Engineering Students Association (EESA) arranged a Workshop on Circuit Simulation using LTspice on 25th January 2020. EESA faculty in-charge, Prof. Mangesh S. Modak along with Prof. Leslie Fernandes and Prof. Nilashri Sakhalkar took efforts to organize this workshop. A total of 39 students of S.E. Electrical Engineering actively participated in the workshop.
