The Department of Mechanical Engineering conducted a 40 hours “Course on ANSYS FEA” during 11 to 12 and 17 to 19 February, 2017 for third year Mechanical Engineering students in collaboration with ARK Info solutions Pvt. Ltd. The course began on 11 February with introductory speech by Dr. M. S. Kirkire followed by the felicitation of Mr. Krishna Chaitanya and Mr. Saumil Trivedi and Mr. Alok Khore of ANSYS Application Engineers, ARK. It helped the students to understand analysis of physical systems using ANSYS in the field of structural and thermal vibrations.
Dr. Kaushal Prasad and Dr. M. S. Kirkire supported in every aspect for smooth conduction of the course. Dr. M. S. Kirkire, Prof. M L Naik and Prof. P B Horambe coordinated the workshop successfully.
