Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti 2022 Celebration
The Department of Electrical Engineering proudly celebrated Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti on 19th February. This year’s celebration marks the 392nd birth anniversary of the great Maratha warrior.
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti was celebrated in presence of a total of 32 students and faculty 8 members and staff from the institute. The festival started with pooja followed by an aarti by Dr Nitin Kanse, the Head of the Chemical Engineering Department, Dr Sandip Chawda, the Head, Electrical Engineering Department accompanied by the faculty members and students. The occasion reminded the gathering of the innumerable qualities of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, like efficacious organizer, Strategic visionary, great warrior, enlightened administrator, inspiring leader, and obedient son.
The event venue was decorated with flowers and rangoli by the students and coordinated by Prof. Jayant Mane.
